I’ve lifted weights on and off for years!  Yes, I’ve seen results but nothing like I’d hoped for.  After reading this article in Men’s Journal, I realize I’ve been doing it all wrong!  In addition to a ton of very detailed information how to “really” become fit and a list of recommended resources, the article states that there are 5 basic truths.

Truth 1:  Your gym is your enemy.

Truth 2:  You need to break yourself down before you rebuild.

Truth 3:  Once you “get it”, you’ll love it.

Truth 4:  Inside ever man’s body is a weak muscle waiting to fail.

Truth 5:  Being fit is about the freedom to train yourself forever.

I’ve decided to put this new knowledge to the test!  I’ll keep you posted on how it goes!  I have a feeling it’s gonna be good!  Whether you’re a regular “lifter” or you’re just starting out, this is a must read!  Enjoy~  Everything You Know About Fitness is a Lie!
