Heart Health

Heart disease affects the heart, and includes coronary heart disease, heart attack, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure and congenital heart disease.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the U.S. which is why prevention is so very important!

Keys to prevention include reducing cholesterol, controlling high blood pressure, quitting smoking, maintaining a healthy weight by incorporating heart-healthy eating habits which include adequate fiber and healthy fats, and effectively exercising most days of the week.

This topic is especially important to me because heart disease runs very strong in my husband’s family and I recently learned that my brother’s friend died at age 39 of a heart attack and my cousin’s husband just had a heart attack at the young age of 42! (Thankfully he is going to be ok!)

I feel very fortunate that the company I work with is the leader in natural heart health and that myself, my handsome hubby and our precious kids all get to benefit from their products.  I feel a responsibility to share this info with others who may not otherwise ever hear about it.

Preventative heart health is so important.  If you want to learn more about how to naturally protect and strengthen your heart, feel free to contact me here and make sure to reference this post.

Share the love by re-posting and sharing this with those you think would be interested!  Thanks :)
